Waver
Waver is a WAV/MP3 to WAV/MP3 converter that allows you to easily
convert your WAV files from one codec to another. It also supports
encoding of real MP3 files. You don't even need an MP3 codec to produce
WAV encoded MP3 files. You can easily accomplish it with Waver. Another
thing Waver can do is read MP3 files and either convert them to WAV
or recompress them to MP3.
Basically, Waver can read and write both WAV and MP3 formats. That
is why Waver is a WAV/MP3 to WAV/MP3 converter. What
is so extraordinary about Waver?
What makes it different is that it allows batch processing using all
available processors on your machine. Do you have a dual Windows NT
or Windows 2000 machine? Do you have 2, 4 or more processors? Are
you tired of having to to manually convert many files at once? It
is the right time to start exploiting Waver. How
easy is it really?
Well, all you have to do is select all the files and directories that
you want to convert as well as the destination format and unleash
it. You can then continue your regular work. Waver can be told to
leave one or all processors responsive and you won't even notice it
is there. It will do the conversion in the background without interfering
with your normal work in other applications. Logging is also supported
so you can inspect if anything went wrong and why.
Go to the screenshots section and take
a look at a few short animated sequences that will give you the idea
of what Waver is and how to use it. What
do I have to do to start using Waver?
Just download it from the download section
and install it. Waver is
a try before you buy utility. You are granted a 30-day
trial period during which you can evaluate the program. If you still
like it and use it after 30 days you are prompted to register. Registration
fee is just $29.95.
